Set in the heart of the village of Pommard, Château la Commaraine is just ten minutes from Beaune and around forty-five minutes from Dijon. Beaune is easily accessible by train from Paris via Dijon, while Lyon, Geneva and Paris airports offer convenient connections to Burgundy. For a seamless arrival, our team will be delighted to arrange a private transfer directly to the Château upon request.

The monopole vineyard and working winery lie at the very heart of Château la Commaraine. Depending on the season and the rhythm of life at the estate, guests may enjoy private visits, tastings and encounters with our winemaking team — an opportunity to discover the terroirs of La Commaraine and experience Burgundy from within.

Le Clos, Le VIII, and the Spa also welcome outside visitors, by reservation and subject to availability. Guests can come for lunch, dinner, or a treatment and discover the world of La Commaraine for a few hours.

Each room and suite has been designed to offer discreet, deeply restful comfort: exceptional bedding, enhanced soundproofing, full blackout curtains, intuitive home automation, and Diptyque amenities in the bathrooms. Boots and raincoats are also provided to explore the Clos, whatever the weather.

The château houses several signature suites, each linked to the history and architecture of the estate. The Cuverie Suite overlooks the working winery, the Commaraine Suite offers dual views over the Clos and the courtyard, the Mathilde Suite charms with its fireplace and vineyard panorama, while the Rotonde Suite sits within the 14th-century medieval tower.

The Vineyard View categories offer beautiful perspectives over the vines. The Commaraine, Mathilde, Rotonde, and Cuverie Suites also offer particularly remarkable views over the Clos, the village, or the estate's viticultural heart.

The Château offers 37 rooms and suites, spread across the estate's various historic buildings. Each offers a unique perspective on the property, with views over the courtyard, the vineyards, the village of Pommard, or the winery.

Wine pairings are offered for each menu, and our sommelier team can also advise you according to your taste. Allergies, intolerances, and dietary preferences can be accommodated, provided they are mentioned at the time of booking so the Chefs can prepare your experience under the best conditions.

In addition to the three menus, Le VIII offers an open à la carte selection, allowing you to compose your dinner freely. It evolves with the seasons, arrivals, and produce selected by the Chefs.

The Nature menu is for those who appreciate honest, generous plant-based cuisine. Parcellaires offers eight courses inspired by the Clos's eight sub-plots, while Expression offers a longer, freer journey where the Chefs' vision fully unfolds.

In addition to the à la carte menu, Le Clos offers several menus designed around the time of day. A lunch menu, a Burgundy-inspired menu, and a more complete dinner tasting allow you to discover the Chefs' cuisine according to your mood and appetite.

Le Clos welcomes outside visitors for both lunch and dinner, by reservation. It is also possible to enjoy the bar and discover the estate's wines, subject to opening hours and availability.

We recommend arriving at the Spa reception fifteen minutes before your treatment begins and mentioning any contraindications when booking. Cancellations or changes must be communicated at least twenty-four hours in advance. The Spa areas are reserved for guests aged 16 and over.

The menu features myBlend facial and body treatments, massages, and Hair Facial Flora protocols. Our therapists combine skilled technique with non-invasive technologies to offer experiences tailored to the skin, body, and scalp.
