In the heart of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, the Ferme Fruirouge invites you to discover the blackcurrant fields, meet the growers, and taste the authentic flavors of the terroir.
Dijon blackcurrant is the only fruit to benefit from a protected geographical indication in Burgundy, guaranteeing its regional origin and specific know-how. Inseparable from the famous Kir, created in Dijon by Canon Félix Kir, it is one of the region's most iconic aperitif traditions.
Throughout the visits, blackcurrant is also discovered as a berry with many virtues, long nicknamed the “plant of longevity” in Burgundy. Rich in vitamin C, polyphenols, and anthocyanins, it charms as much through its history as through its aromatic intensity.
